Zombie Burger Drink Lab - Raygun

Zombie Burger and Drink Lab is a located in the heart of the East Village. The restaurant is packed full of murals, photos, and horror themed memorabilia.   They have a self service side with options to eat on the patio, get and go, or you can grab a seat at the many hi tops.  If you have time you can wait to be seated and you can have a waiter or waitress serve you too.  There you can nab a drink from the bar or spiked milk shake.

They have over 2 dozen named burger creations with option to go from a single patty to a triple. You can substitute with a chicken breast, veggie patty, portobello mushroom, or bun less too.  They also have wide assortment of appetizers, salads, hot dogs, and soups.  You can also try the many shakes and malts.

Visited Zombie Burger in Des Moines for a tasty burger and fries. I chose the double Raygun which included 2 quarter pound beef patties with monterey cheese, fried jalapeƱos, caramelized onion, bacon, guacamole, and chipotle mayo. The burger was messy but delicious.

Abelardo's for Breakfast to GO

I have been here several times visiting the 24 hour drive thru nabbing breakfast burritos in the morning. Abelardo's truly has some great food for an exceptional value. The drive thru is a little slow because the cook your burrito order as they go. From the time I order to drive away is about 5 minutes. So be patient and you will be rewarded. So today I tried the steak burrito. It was packed full of steak, potatoes, egg, and cheese.

Not in the mood for a breakfast burrito- they have a menu full of tacos, enchiladas, and quesadillas.
